What 'restore type' are you running it as 'Normal Backups' or 'Raw Partition
Backups'?
Whichever you've been doing, try the other...i'm sure that's how I fixed it
Mike
Thanks for the answer, I think I use normal
FYI.We just upgraded from 6.5.3 to 7.0.1 successfully and device mappings

It may be that you are dup'ing so many jobs at once (high number of write
drives) that vault grabs fresh tapes and isn't filling them up. It may
take you longer to fill them up because the tapes are in use elsewhere and
it would have to wait.
How much data are you actually duplicating and on

If I have a windows 2008 server that is a client for backups, but I also want
the console on it.
Which do I install first, the console for 7.0 or the client for 7.0?

Well
Just the console. I did the 7.0 (media servers only downloaded files) which
had the custom/admin console.
The console installed the client as well, because when I went to the client it
would not let me.
Then I did the 7.0.1 patch and it installed ok.
The console opens up just fine.
The SAN client is not working correctly since it came out.
(It took Symantec until 6.5.4 to remove the fragment issue that i did report
with version 6.5.1)
I'm working on a case since Netbackup 6.5.1 and still restores are failing most
of the times.
Fell free to link your case with my case
