San Media Win2k3 Sp2 NBU 7.0.1 talking to a 7.0.1 Master
Problem: We have identified 40,000 files, of various types (ie: word,
excel, jpeg, bmp, pdf) that are ZERO bytes. They appear to have been

Am I missing something? Why not just use cli - bprestore with the -f option?
I'm on my mobile, so don't have the rest of the syntax to hand, but other than
the over write flag, and some date qualifiers, that should be all you need...

Isnt -f restore to an alternative location. Something I cannot do as I
do not have the space.
And I cant just overwrite everything, as alot of the files within the
folders and subfolders have been used and accessed.
Perhaps I am missing something then?

No. The -f file allows you to specify a file that contains a list
of files to restore.

Spoke too soon.
While it appeared to run OK through most of the day yesterday last night
it started having issues again and was slowing down backups going to our
Data Domain dedupe unit.
On killing it those backups resumed normal operation and completed.

What information do you need? I used to use ACSLS to get what info I needed,
its very easy to script.
