I would like to know if some of your are having trouble with Exchange 2003 GRT
backups with NBU 6.5.4, in particular speed problems ?
The store backup is very fast, but the indexing of the stores is very slow. We
found with a truss that bpdm sleeps for 1 second after each NFS request:

We figured it out.
Using the GUI, it appears we can pull a backup from a different client
but not push to one. So the trick is to login to the restore's
destination client and pull it from the server that did the backup.
The NT guys are happy and the project is moving on.

I just zoned a LTO3 library into an old master server (5.1, I told you it
was old). It sees everything but when I do the barcode scan of the tapes it
is not doing the same thing for each type of label. I took a line in the
vm.conf file and copied it from one of my other libraries and

What is the library make and model.
Are you using different virtual libraries in the LTO3 library. If so any chance
that the library number to nbu does not match those in the vm.conf
Or that the LTO3 library has different rules on how to present the barcodes for
the library?
