I wonder what would have happened if I did not have frozen the SG on
server1 would it continue showing PARTIAL and will not failover ?

my work place is deciding on which product to go for Veritas/Symantec
or Sun for clustering 2 nodes - ha on solaris.
I would like to know experience of people on using these products.
Which one is preferred in market and why and which one would be

I have 4 SAN partitions used by application on active node.
