Hi Ganesh, I configured storage and then it was recognized by solaris-10 using the "/kernel/drv/sd.conf" and it required a reboot as well. Hope this helps. Perhaps cfgadm -al -o show_SCSI_LUN see if there are any un-configured disk then configure them cfgadm -o configure . I have seen disks become un-configured if they are removed via powerpath then when new disks are added you have to configure the disks with cfgadm. Perhaps fcinfo remote-port -p wwn might give some clues too there an option to list all the luns with that command '-s'? not logged in so I cant do a man. If 'format' sees it as a disk also, then there is an OS/array issue that is causing that entry. We take the OS disk list, using an API, and scan each device on the list. If the OS is seeing a 'disk' it should not (as proved by the format output), it's going to report that to VxVM. Thats right. I tried vxdisk rm and after reboot NONAME shows up again. Good point but he removed disk.info along with all vx device links and the NONAME device was recreated following a reconfiguration reboot.
