After initially installing versions I noticed that not all of my svn
icons were showing up on my working copies. Now the icons have stopped
displaying entirely making it hard to discern what is and what isn't
under version control. Any help would be immensely appreciated! I

I'm encountering a very frustrating bug.
Every time I do a change to a binary file (for a jpg), I get an error
when I commit.
The only workaround I found is to delete my file first then to add it
again. This is making me loose a lot of time , especially as the
deletion is very slow.

If you're talking about the SVN status being displayed via icons in
Finder, that's not a feature of Versions — you may be using SCPlugin,
which does have issues with consistently displaying status.
If you're talking about within the Versions window when examining a
working copy bookmark,
