Ignore does not work even though it has not been committed.

Created new repo Exported empty repo Added two folders that contain many files and folders. I get the blue question marks on the two top level folders, but not on sub-folders / files. In one of the top level folders I have a cache folder I want to ignore. Right click ignore and it gives me the

OK, I think I have understood what you mean, now. You want to add a folder including only some of the files therein. Right now you would need to add the empty folder and commit. Put all the files in the folder and selectively add those you want added. Or in other words: you want to add the
