[Veusz-discuss] Data import

I handle a hole lot of data consisting of results both above and below limit of quantification. That is a minimized series could look like: 0.05 0.05 0.06 1.20 0.05 0.07 A numerical import always yields correct values for actual values, but nan for the 0.05 results. Is there a way inside Veusz

Perhaps the proper way to present it is as an asymmetric error bar? That is, treat 0.05 as 0 (+ 0.05) (-0)? Since Veusz supports independent positive and negative errors, it should not be too difficult to create an input plugin which handles that transformation. Regards, -- BKS On 7/6/2014

Yes, maybe but then I would rather think of 0.05 as: 0.05 (0) (-0.05) ...that way the datapoint is drawn as part of the series at 0.05 and the dataset line would not go down to zero. - drawback, a whole lot of vertical lines which ruins esthetics - but, I don't think using error fields may ruin

Dear Jeremy, Since version 1.18, an error has been cropping up when I try to use files that were imported using the $FILENAME prefix. The file imports correctly and I can check the data is OK, but when I use it in a graph, it shows the error in the console window: 'Error evaluating
