What a shame buoy were making such great progress. Tell the surgeon to wash his
hands next time.
Prayers for a successful outcome.

Well, not real good situation, infection was all the way to my insert and doc
had to remove it. Looks like I'll be starting over again.

I use mono most often & white w/ markers next. I have one bobbin that usually
has red floss, but I’ve used other colored floss as well. If I HAD to use
colored thread, olive, black, white & red, & maybe fire orange to tie Tony’s
Chili Peppers:)

I started this year thinking what it would be like to tie for a year with
only three of each type of fly tying material - - - - like 3 chenille, 3
marabou, three colors thread, 3 beads, etc.
Then, I got the impulse to tie hairwing salmon flies and completely put
those nasty thoughts in the
Black, black, black, black, olive and red.

You cheated, Pete - no Sharpies available ;-) "Sharpie" is a rather
generic term for markers, kinda like "Fridgidaire" used to be for
refrigerators (you're too young to remember that)and a Hoover across
the
white, and a bunch of permanent markers :)

I tend you only use about six anyway, black, white, yellow, red, orange and
brown. I could also add mono which is clear and doesn't count to the six
because it doesn't have colour.

I tie about 90% of my flies with red or black. Red adds a little hot spot
of gill look. If I had 4 more to choose I'd go with chartreuse, white, tan,
and olive.

I just have a quick question. If you could only have 6 colors of thread to
tie with, doesn't matter what the denier or ought is, and there were no
Sharpies available, what 6 colors would you choose?

Hi All;
May be a while before I start tying again. I have drainage from my elbow
surgery in October that worked its way out of my elbow about a month ago and
won't stop. Doctor is going to open it up this afternoon and see what's up.
Hopefully it's something minor and all signs point to
