Hi All; Received my Nor vise yesterday,  bolted it to my tying bench, loaded a couple spools with thread and preceded to give it a go. It definitely takes some getting used to.  Mine came with the saltwater jaws a bit of a pia to get used to and hard to get anything less than a size 6 streamer

Mine is an older version. The newer one has a little handle on the left side so you can spin it faster. I don't ever use that. Mine must be at least 12 years old, has a lifetime warranty, and I've sent it back to Norm for an update once, all at no charge. Be sure you get either the Norlander
