Before I answer your questions, I want to make the case that this thread IS
fishing related. Regardless of the politics of global warming I think all
fishermen can agree that pollution, smog, acid rain and other such nasties that
result from burning fossil fuels can be detrimental to our

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Don't tie anything heavier than a
weighted 2/0. Best you take care
Has anyone heard from Jim Phillips lately. He was quite sick a month or two
ago. Jim are you there?

That's a riot. It'd be a good teaching tool for the whip finish

Hi Don,
i do not find these types of tools very handy, so I switched to manual
whip. But - if memory serves, in the early times these whip finishers
were smaller. Why do they make it today so huge? Must be a nightmare to
travel with those. No.. you cannot convince me, I stick with the manual
whip.
Rene, where's your sense of humor?
Don't your head-cement fumes get to you like the rest of us?
BTW, I can hand-whip with the fastest of them, but I can
Matarelli whip in 1/2 that time. No reason for speed for me,
just after whipping a zillion flies, it's just faster.
