So, I took the Guadalupe Green Fly and bastardized it into my own bead-
head pattern with no hackles.
This is the result. Pattern works well in yellow, white, black,
chartreuse and olive.
Caught 5 bass with it this past weekend, plus a whole bunch of panfish
and one Rio Grande Cichlid. (The
Trout. Works very well on Crooked Creek and on the White River. I
tie them mostly with a Fire Orange head and no bead. If I want a heaver fly,
I will use a bead or a Cone head.
