So, I took the Guadalupe Green Fly and bastardized it into my own bead-
head pattern with no hackles.

This is the result. Pattern works well in yellow, white, black,
chartreuse and olive.

Caught 5 bass with it this past weekend, plus a whole bunch of panfish
and one Rio Grande Cichlid. (The Cichlid turned out to be one awesome
fighter on a fly rod!) Haven't tried it on trout yet. Don't have
access to the trout sections of the Guad.

Anyhow, thought I'd share.

I'm calling it a "Bead Head Lupe" after my home waters.
