Re: [VFB] Just curious - Looking for a Fly Tyer article

2015-11-13 Thread Pete Gramp
Sorry, been a hectic week - anyhow, the article is on British Wet Flies.
Joyce and Ashley have graciously sent the article, and I thank them both
profusely for doing so. I'd purchase it myself, if not for the fact that
it is just not available in circulation much, if at all, anymore. I'm a
loyal subscriber to the magazine (though I wholeheartedly agree that it has
declined significantly over recent years) .

Again, thank you so very much for the article, Joyce and Ashley, and let me
know if I can send you some material as a "barter" thanks. I think I have
some porcupine quills, always a hit *a la *coffin fly, "modern dry fly
code" cover - look alike. That goes for anyone, I suppose, if you wish to
try your hand at it and need some porcupine quills, let me know, but Joyce
and Ashley have 'first dibs'.

Thanks again,
-Pete

I have a lot of the early issues and have stopped subscribing in recent years,
they have lost some of our top writers in recent years. There is talk that a
new Editor would solve the problems, currently to many articles are coming out
with others names on them.
