Hi Pete:
Sorry to learn of your health problems. As a fairly severe diabetic myself, I
am well aware of the danger of ketoacidosis. In fact if you remember Mark
Delaney formerly on this list, it was ketoacidosis that caused his death. I
don’t think that he looked after himself as he should
So my not-so-brilliant body decided it would play a trick on me and would
suddenly go into what the hospital staff called "DKA" - Diabetic
ketoacidosis - which essentially means that while the blood sugar levels of
a "normal" person are in the 70 to 100 range, mine were 1085 when I was
admitted to
