I’m getting very close again to being able to tie (after many tries). Can be frustrating to find one’s abilities at so low a level. The pain medications are much worse in side effects than the stroke was. The real challenge is the side-effects (along with additional side effects if just quitting them) and the lack of honesty about them. Central post stroke pain syndrome is a monster. I tied Percy before the pain set in, which ended all therapies until we got the pain under control. Which is in uncertain partial progress.
