I’m getting very close again to being able to tie (after many tries). Can be
frustrating to find one’s abilities at so low a level.
The pain medications are much worse in side effects than the stroke was. The
real challenge is the side-effects (along with additional side effects if just
quitting them) and the lack of honesty about them. Central post stroke pain
syndrome is a monster. I tied Percy before the pain set in, which ended all
therapies until we got the pain under control. Which is in uncertain partial
progress. Those familiar with post stroke central pain will understand.
