Saving hanger rent was the best deal, I kept the plane at home in my garage.
Yes, I did get a lot of looks especially when I towed it from Oklahoma to N.J.
when I moved. I had it on a trailer I built especially for the plane..

Looked like it had quite a bit of "tongue weight" on that station wagon. That
was a good idea on saving the hangar space.. Did you have any formal education
in air craft or air foil physics, engineering or something like that?? or just
built it from experience?? What was that first flight like??
Man am I glad I put down my coffee cup before I looked at this one!

I gotta let ya'll know that Buggs didn't really do those sketches,
but he also doesn't know who the artist is to give him/her proper credit.
I got them this morning in an email, and laughed my bihinkis-noogus off,
and it seemed the best way to be able to post it on VFB as fly related.

Don,
What I do is basically the overhand weave. Doing it with a Knitpicker is
easier when using thread. Trying to weave the thread by hand is hard to handle.
It was originally done with a Crochet hook but I tried the Knitpicker and found
it a lot better. I also do scuds, Sowbugs and other bodie

Hi Bob,
Are you brewing beer or wine?
I haven't done anything for a couple of years but have the books at home if
you need book titles or just pick my brain (I brewed wine).
