The I photo that I used would let me correct the photo, size it put text on it correct Red Eye and so on. This one just says you can download off the internet to a disk. I have ben told there are two I Photo programs, this is not the one I am wanting. I am told there is no I photo like the one I was using for Windows 7. I am not smart enough to know. Tony: I know the one you are talking about, I lost mine and it was my favorite photo program, even better than Photoshop for quick and easy fixes. Now, the only way I can get mine back is to buy another copy. It is made by a company called “Ullead” or Ulead”. You can google it. I have used Picassa, free, with really good results. It is a fabulous program for photos. You might want to check it out. That’s what I have used since losing my Iphoto. That, and either Gimp, and I also have Pos Photo Pro. Both of te llater are free from CNET.com and have just about all the functions of Photoshop Elements. Whilst I use a MAC most of the time, I found Windows 7 to be better than XP. One has to embrace it and not fight it! Most people don't take the trouble to learn about these programs. I think Jimmy's problem is not with Windows but in upgrading Netscape and losing his bookmarked files. Jimmy, I will ask our computer guys here at the university what to do. J: I have my older laptop that is running on XP, and I noticed where they are no longer providing tech support on XP. Can I just buy a software upgrade to go from XP up to the 8.1 all in one leap?? My Netscape totally died and it went to AOL and now that died too. Going to Windows 7, I lost my I Photo that I depended on for my photos. Now Yahoo changed it's format and it is a mess. It takes me forever to learn a program and then it is changed. I guess I am from the old school. I earned to do things with paper and pencil. Hi Tony: It seems that there is an IPhoto and an iPhoto. The second iPhoto is a popular photo viewing software by Apple that is included with every Apple MAC, including iPhone and iPad.
