That's a good question I guess FFMpegX
(http://homepage.mac.com/major4) might work. It's got kind of a
complicated interface. It's really too bad that Apple dropped MP3
encoding support from QTpro.

He's right, it seems to be gone from QT pro. See this screen shot:

So what's the solution? Use AAC and hope Google accepts it?
Jim Vinson suggested Divx, because they are teaming up with Google,
but I can't find any official word from Google yet that you can upload
Divx-formatted files. Maybe Google plans to take your video and

if I'm charging for people to download my Google downloads, doesn't it?
And if I endcode in Divx, does that mean I should make available two
versions of my video on Google, one for people with Divx, one for
people without?

Thanks, Paul. I have QT7 pro, but why do I need to download the 3ivx

Greg,It helps with the playback, trust me. If you have quicktime 6, they are already there, but in 7 they were omitted, I had lots of lovely problems when I upgraded at first, avi's wouldn't play, or they would play with sound, or all I got was a white screen and sound track, those kind things.
