Here is what I do to make a DVD with iDVD. I save an uncompressed quicktime file from FCP (file/export/quicktime). This is very quick because the file is just transcoded into a QT wrapper. The files are large but not to worry ... I'll explain in a minute. I then create my iDVD project which
