Re: [videoblogging] Simple Question

2006-04-09 Thread Markus Sandy
i sent an email asking to have my feeds removed
it appears that this has not been done yet

i have no intention of signing up

the next step is to send them an invoice
i think josh wolf set a good precedent at $500 (that's per video)

btw, taking down you own feeds may not be enough
to do it right, they must take down every copy they made of your videos,
possibly from other feeds that may contain your vids

case in point: bottom union's carp caviar collaboration

even if they remove my feed, they are still taking my videos from other
feeds that have resulted from collaborations like this

so, yes, it an get complicated

Re: [videoblogging] Simple Question

2006-04-09 Thread David Meade

well I guess I havent taken any action yet because I for one want to give them a chance to fix the problem. As for wha VEOH's done in the past ... there's been a few full appologies, and a promise to make it right.  I'm not sure what more we could possibly ask for.
I'm not going to 'claim' it because I think that's crazy ... my name, email, url, etc are in the feed ... if thats not sufficient, they've bigger problems than they are likely going to be able to fix.   I'll give them some time to work that out and see if they can get me the attribution / link-throughs, etc.  if they cant do that then i'll take action to fix it myself. :-P
