Ridiculous as it may seem, that IS the beginning of the DVD. The grainy infomercial video is the 'loading the menu' sequence. Hit the menu button and you get what looks like the end of an infomercial - Send $39.95 for the 'Tappy Tibbons Collection' but two-thirds of the way down that page

H, Well Requiem for a Dream starts out with a fake infomercial - it's part of the plot. It's odd that you can't skip to the next chapter though - is this what is occurring? Also - I know some DVDs do not have a "Play" function per say but you just play it from the first chapter. Som
