know of a place to get just a liquid cleaner similar to Maxell Disc

Actually in the automotive section of amazon.com but works well on
DVDs. Probably in your local auto parts store, too.
#1 is good for cleaning, #2 does well with fine scratches; no need
for #3, the heavy scratch remover.
