[Videolib] Untold history of the United States

2013-09-09 Thread Moshiri, Farhad
Does anyone know when the Untold History of the United States will be released
on DVD? I can only see the Blu-Ray and I could not find the information on the
DVD release. Thanks.

There is probably an easier way but if you get in a pickle here is the
email for Eyal Sivan one of the directors. He has been very involved in the
distribution of his films.

e...@eyalsivan.info

UM never mind. I was checking my old emails with Eyal and found this. He
sells it on his site for individuals. Not sure how you want to proceed but
here is the link

http://www.momento-films.com/en/

FYI going to a favorite film of mine with Rodney Hill at MOMA tonight.
Maybe he will need for you to buy him a copy for class. Luckily it is cheap
and GREAT ( Robert Aldrich's ATTACK)

Good afternoon, Matt...

Is there a particular PBS program you're looking to acquire with PPR?

As a direct distributor for PBS, Vide-O-Go distributes both their home
video versions as well as their AV educational versions with PPR.

Depending on the title, here's the PPR info that accompanies the
programming:

PBS' AV Benefits:
Why the AV version? Because it provides additional usage options for PBS
videos. AV versions come with limited performance rights so they can be shown
in classrooms, at PTA meetings, during after school programs, and
transmitted on a closed-circuit system within a building or on a single
campus.
They also can be enjoyed in admission-free public screenings, which also makes
them ideal for use by library patrons and businesses involved in community
clubs and organizations.
Limited public performance rights are included with videos designated as AV
or Indexed. These videos may be shown in a classroom or screened by a
public group, for educational purposes, when no admission is charged for the
viewing. These programs may be transmitted on a closed-circuit system within
a building or single campus. Your purchase does not permit you to duplicate
or alter the program for any purpose, to distribute the program through
any wide access network (internet, open cable, open broadcast, LAN,
satellite, telco, etc.), or to digitize, encode and/or place the program on a
digital server.
Wishing you continued success...
