Dear Videonews subscribers and former Videonews subscribers,
In response to rising complaints related to the frequency and currency of
Videonews postings, I have put together a brief survey with the hopes of
eventually establishing clearer best practices and etiquette guidelines for
Videonews.
Hi Folks,
If you're a librarian or acquisition professional responsible for buying
films and aren't subscribed to Videonews, you should be!
I've had a mini-flurry of independent filmmakers (and a even an new EDU
distributor!) reach out inquiring about posting to Videolib vs. Videonews.

Hi Folks,
Did something happen to the VIDEONEWS listserv? I have both lists
funnel directly into the appropriate folders and I haven't seen anything

Thanks!

I've recently been asked about how many people subscribe to videonews and
videolib. Latest stat is about 825 for videonews and around 1100 for
videolib. I'm surprised myself: lists are a lot larger than the last
time I poked around to look.

If you've made reasonable efforts to determine that the VHS in question is

Perhaps the explanation is simple: when I hit 'reply all,' Video News

Don't think this is the problem, since I sent an email from the Videolib

We may have to go that route. The closest thing to a pro big-ag piece I

Hi all
I was just doing some maintenance on the VIDEOLIB list and noticed (again)
the fairly large number of subscribers who are not also subscribed to
VIDEONEWS. 'Tis a pity...
VIDEONEWS is a relatively low-volume list that has been established as a
way for distributors and filmmakers to post
I understand people wanting to cut down on email but videonews is not
exactly junk mail and most distributors filmmakers use it judiciously.
