As I wrote, viking already has minimal stuff for that. Currently (viking-0.9.8) you can open OSM external sites with the coordinates of the current viewport. For example, I've just uploaded raw data (GPX) to OSM. Then, I want to edit them with potlach. So, I simply click on menu

Hi, Most of my use of Viking is to do with surveying updating on OSM. It would really make this a lot easier if one of the map layers available to me was 'OSM NoName'. I'm afraid I don't know enough to do any 'coding' for this, and in fact will have to wait for an update on Ubuntu before I can
