As I wrote, viking already has minimal stuff for that. Currently
(viking-0.9.8) you can open OSM external sites with the coordinates of
the current viewport.
For example, I've just uploaded raw data (GPX) to OSM. Then, I want to
edit them with potlach. So, I simply click on menu
Tools->webtools->OSM(edit). A bowser is opened with the same location.

Currently, I only implemented the "webtools". But my plan was to
support other tools (like josm). Furthermore, these tools will be
configurable by file before viking-1.0.

So, just send details about what you need to activate your tools.
First of all, some command line examples can be fine. We will then
design a way to launch these commands from viking.
