Vim takes up to 7 seconds to run

2006-05-28 Thread Andrea Spadaccini
Hello everyone, In the last two days I've been experiencing an odd problem: vim takes A LOT of time to start. My notebook is a Core Duo T2300 with 1GB RAM, I think it's enough to run vim ;) I'm using gentoo linux, and Vim 7.0: how can I try to find the problem? Please help me: it's frustrating!!
