Alright, I got the capacitors changed on almost all of the computers. Good news
and bad news so far.
Good news is that every computer so far that was working is still working after
being recapped and also my Mac classic II is now working! So I increased my
vintage Mac collection by one :D
Bad
Yep, everything happens except the image in the middle of the floppy disk. I
get the chord sound, mouse in the upper left, and gray screen.
The quadra and powermac 6100 need hard drives, so I ordered them for them. The
one machine works fine so I needed the drive anyways. If this computer that

I got two SCSI 50 pin hard drives coming in the mail and I am in the process of
getting capacitors, the 6500 post is about that. So I guess we will see what
happens after those.
I will also have two more Mac classics as I have some of them
Have you checked the P ram battery should be 3.6 V

I don't think it has the ROM stick, I am guessing it goes in the three
slotted spot like it does in the quadra.
Removed both ram sticks and it booted the same way, gray screen with the mouse

This can happen if the SCSI hard drive is mostly dead but not all dead. Alive
enough for the Mac to see it but dead enough it
Hi again :)
Along with the quadra I got, I obtained a 6100/60 Mac that is also giving me
issues. When it boots it only shows a gray screen, but without the question
mark floppy in the middle. And it will not boot to anything. I have tried
holding command + option + p + r already but it didn't
Try removing all the RAM SIMMs. There is memory built in to the MB so it
should still boot. Also, in plug all drives and any peripherals except the
video monitor. Then try booting it and see if you get the question mark.
