Hey gang, I'm toying with the idea of converting my old beater Baja to RHD for
a postal job I've taken. I was thinking of doing a partial conversion that
would use the pedals from a RHD beetle (1970ish), but use a bracket with a belt
or chain to control the steering wheel and seperate switch
If you were to drill the holes for the master cylinder, don't forget the
spacers between the walls of the Napoleon hat where the mounting bolts go
through. As narrow as the car is, I have seen people simply reach over from
the right seat to turn the steering wheel on the left.

Easier yet would be the hanging conversion pedals, which could be
easily homemade. The pivoting crosstubes for each pedal (inside each
other) bolt into cowl-or firewall-mounted bushing brackets. The 3
