NQ,

   Easier yet would be the hanging conversion pedals, which could be 
easily homemade.  The pivoting crosstubes for each pedal (inside each 
other) bolt into cowl-or firewall-mounted bushing brackets.  The 3 
left-side control arms bolt to the existing pedals, while the three 
right-side arms with pedals swing down from above.
   I also agree with the 'holding-the-steering-wheel-with-the-left-hand' 
method.    I've seen mail drivers doing this daily.  All of these 
methods leave the car as original, which is best when all is said and done.
