I've used Turtlewax Rubbing Compound with great success. I suggest buying the
smallest pack they sell. Get the one designed for clear coat paints

Mike,
Toothpaste! Gently! or some of the stuff they sell call scratch out.
Just repolish it afterwards. Toothpaste work pretty well for all sorts of
gentle polishing.
Cheers, dave

hey gang,
I finally got around to pulling the leaky axletube retainer plates off of the
'68 swingaxle type 1 trans installed in my 67 bus. When I first pulled them off
there was alot of form-a-gasket on both sides of the paper gasket(s) that were
in there. I didn't think to count how many paper
Volks,
I should have taken pictures.
In my 1970 beetle, I've completely renewed my rear seat, and am trying to
recall how it should all fit back together.
The TMI upholstery kit fit flawlessly. The seatback (rear side) and the
rear luggage hold all came covered with a gray pebblegrain vinyl
normally 3 each side, but it depends on wear of flower packing and etc. to
set up.
