Oh for sure, you'll love it. I was leaning more toward the iPad line, until I
saw the Touch. Thoroughly impressed.
Take care,

My boyfriend has an iPad 2nd gen, and I guess because I started with an
iPhone 3GS, I couldn't get used to the larger size. Everything was just too
spread out for me, so I want to stick with the iPod Touch, but like I said,
the 4th gen has very poor sound quality unless you keep headphones on
Hi, I think this would be that the recorder is recording the output of
the speaker phone. I think it's neat that it worked because I thought
that Apple disabled the microphone from recording while a phone call is
in progress. So, the fact that it worked is rather an interesting discovery.

Hi, I thought that there was an eject cord command for Braille displays.
I'd suggest opening the keyboard help when you have the display
connected and type out various cord commands. I bet that if there is an
eject one, it will do what is asked in this thread. I just don't
remember what that

Hi Keith,
If you all ready have List Recorder and want the Full version then do the
following
start List Recorder
Go to get help from the tool bar at the bottom of the screen
Go to upgrade info and follow the directions.
By upgrading this way all the data in List Recorder will be available
I think what he was asking though is if there is a way with just the
IPhone in hand to release the other device from having the keyboard so
that he can get back his on screen keyboard without having to reach
for the device such as a braille display or bluetooth keyboard that
has the on screen
I also thought they disabled the microphone from recording during a
call. Either we are incorrect or this is a wanted bug! Let's keep it
pretty quiet.

Hi all,
I am considering purchasing one of the new iPod shuffles. Can anyone describe
the shuffle and what the voiceover is like?
I know from apple's website that it comes with earpods.
Thanks,

Not true, the eject function does what he asked. It works for both
qwerty keyboards and braille keyboards. I don't know why it's called
eject, but basically when you press the eject keys, it brings up the
onscreen keyboard despite a hardware keyboard already being connected.

I bought Big Ben, talked about the other day but, my personal favorite is
G-clock. Too bad they haven't been able to keep it from dragging apps with
VO or shutting down when phone rings. It's chimes sound like my friends old
grandfather clock. :)

It is a neat little app though, with the face identification that the newer
software for the phone has, you don't need it as much.
What you do is turn the phone so the back facing camera is facing you and it
will tell you where to aim the camera.
Up and left, down and right, then will say smile
Hello,
I was having trouble with my Focus 40 Blue, so tech support sent me the file to
update the firmware. I did, but I haven't noticed any differences. If you call
tech support, though, I'm sure they'll send it to you.
Best,

Hi,
With the iPHone, you delete books by going to Settings, choosing General, and
then choosing Usage. Audiobooks are listed in the Music section, and you can
delete them with a double-tap and hold, then swipe right. I don't know whether
this works on the Nano though.
Best,
Anna

Hello Raul,
I wish Apple would fix it so that Voiceover simply either does not announce
the call duration or that it doesn't do so by somehow automatically focusing
it away from that. Moving focus away from call duration is not hard to do,
but it's a pain in the neck if I am answering a call with
Hi Keith,
This was just discussed about 2 or 3 days ago when there was a thread about
Text Detective and Prizmo. In any case, the iPhone 5 has only a very
marginally improved camera and in fact has exactly the same camera as far as
the 8 MP sensor is concerned. They put a higher quality lens
Hi Joe,
MyWay Classic allows you to drop way points and create entire custom routes.
From what I understand Breadcrums will be very similar, maybe it will have
some better features, but it's the same idea. I have, by the way, not heard
when it comes out, but if you go to the LookTel website
Not sure if you are aware of this, but Apple does offer a 30-day no
questions asked money back guaranty. If you order it from Apple and you
don't like it just send it back.

Hi Stacey,
It is my understanding that the Shuffle is not an iOS device hence it does
not have Voiceover. I believe it has voice feedback built in, e.g. you can I
believe ask it what song is playing and it will tell you, but I don't think
it has full Voiceover.

Sieghard
