Mark, I just compared the free Pandora with the free Spotify. I would say Spotify's quality is hands down better than Pandora. Yes, you get about a 30 second commercial every 30 minutes, but its free. -i just searched for Joni Mitchell and began listening. For free, you have to use "Shuffle
