Hey all,
I am using IOS 10.3. Today, I attempted to post to facebook using siri. It
has always worked till now.
I went in to the facebook settings on my phone, and deleted the account, and
then went to siri, and turned it off, and uninstalled the facebook app.
Then, I reinstalled the facebook
Wouldn't that be the coolest thing?
My girlfriend was over here this afternoon, pushed to ask Siri something, and
she said hello. Hers is an iPhone 5. Is there a way to set ours to do that, or
not possible using Voice Over? It did not do that ting ting deal, said hello.
She is younger than I
Thanks Jonathan,
I would never have looked there. That is pretty impressive.

Hi Richard, under Braille settings, double-tap the More Info button for your
display as if you were going to unpair it. The keyboard manager is there.
How to use it is covered extensively in iOS 11 Without the Eye.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
I was more thinking about apps like slicktv and channels. You can put those on
your iphone by sideloading. Anyone have some experience with tfis?

Hello Jonathan,
You mentioned in your list "The comprehensive keyboard manager for assigning
any key on your Braille display to any function" which truly sounds brilliant.
I only recently gained access to a braille display after not having one for
several years and somehow missed this feature.
Here in tge UK at least, an app called FilmOn does work for streaming a lot of
tv channels with no payment nor any cable contract.

It would take you reading thousands of hours of text and some very advanced
software to produce a TTS based on that.
This is something that is a very, very long time away.

The setting you want is actually in Settings > iTunes and App Store and then
it's at the very bottom.
If you do a 4-finger tap near the bottom of the screen it takes you to the very
end which is the explanation of the setting, then one swipe back to the left
puts you on the control called
Richard is correct, apart from watching whatever you can watch online anyways

There is a time limit, but it's certainly more than a few minutes. Maybe ask a
sighted friend or family member to watch while you do it.

Hi,
I’d like to see the ability for a user to record their own voice, then have
that be able to be used for voiceover and Siri, as well as being shared, so
others can use it, if they’d like.
Someone once asked me if I’d ever thought about lending my voice like that.
Does anyone know how I

As far as I know, you have to subscribe to a cable service to truly watch live
tv on your apple device. I have Xfinity and use their stream tv app. I suspect
other cable companies have something similar.
