Also expiration dates are stamped on products not printed. There is times in which the ink smears, the writing has faded. Until it is mandated that expiration dates be placed on an item, on the same spot for all products & a better expiration date is adopted, there is no way for a blind person

Sadly, I do not think you will ever see expiration dates in barcones. Barcodes identify the general product, not that individual package. But you would probably have to contact the manufacturer to find out if something could be done. According to my wife, there is little consistancy of
