like someone else said, I have no interest in leaving behind my Excel file

I tried Good Maps, or Explorer as it now appears to be called. The
search capability seems outdated. I still have Nearby Explorer on my
phone, and it still seemed good. I'm not sure of the difference
between the two apps. I would pick BlindSquare over Explorer.

google account set up on your device and in case you are using an iphone
then the same will be uploaded to your icloud account.
So changing the phone provider will not remove the contacts backed up over
these.
