Yes, it does make it fun at times. Sense I took flying lessons we have an
arrangement. She does the driving and I do the flying.

With speech off and VO still on it is possible to double tap the back
button; you can still hear the clicks indicating you have backed out of
whatever you are into. For instance, I went into a play list and then used
the Speech Off gesture. I could then double tap the back button to back out

I think the triple click of the home button to turn on and off VoiceOver
is configured by default during the initial set up. If the set up has
been done without using the triple click of the home button then I don't
think it is the default any longer.
