Thanks, Anna. I just discovered that the problem was caused because I had
turned on Scroll View (in Appearance settings along the top of the Books
screen). When this is enabled, double tapping on the bookmark will not tmove
tge screen to the page you bookmarked but rather to the start of the cha

To go back to a page you have bookmarked, choose Table of contents. Bookmarks.
Any bookmarks you have created are listed. Double-tap the one you want, and
you'll be on the page you bookmarked.
