I know, they probably think you can record a message, and it's not like I never
use my keyboard, I'm pretty good, but it's really inconvenient that now I can't
dictate a message. I left feedback both in the report a problem and the
feedback sections, as well as mentioning it in my App Store
hi all, i have an iphone6 and i’m running the latest version of iOS.
I’ve observed that the dictate button near the bottom of the keyboard is
dimmed for no apparent reason, as far as i can tell this is a random
occurrence with no Patton to when it happens and what apps it happens with.

That's odd since I had sighted help confirm that the dictation button
was not appearing on the screen.
Furthermore, when I attempt to double tap while in an edit field I
