The companion app for this scale does indeed work with the iPhone. Support for
the iPhone is a brand new update to the app. The news of this was somehow in
my newsfeed and that is how I heard of this. I honestly would prefer to use a
stand alone scale that is not tied to my iP
.

weight is read out on the iDevice by voiceOver. I’d love to have a talking
kitchen scale but I have not purchased one. I get frustrated when I spend my
money on a talking gadget that is poorly made and often inaccurate.
