Exactly, the Airpods came out what a year and a half ago in September of 2017

This is great info. I did not realize that I could pair both my phone and my
watch to my Voyager Edge. Hmmm!! I'll have to give this a try.
Seamless switching between the phone and the watch sounds good to me.

When the headphones are actively linked to the phone and Voiceover is reading
or Audible Is playing, and an alarm goes off on my phone, the watch sounds come
through the headphones, but then the sound does not
