area of the screen where the body of the message is located. I’ve found that
using the sideways flick method is unreliable for me, because of VO-tracking
issues.

It may be necessary for her to flick write a couple of times on the first one
or two Messages, then flicking up will read what she wants. Once things settle
down, she will only need to flick up. Hope this helps!
