Can anyone recommend a free and accessible note taking application? I also
want the application to have the feature of preventing other people from
viewing the content by putting a password. This is because I intend to use the
app as a personal diary..

I use a couple of journal apps. There is one called day one, and then another
one called Lumen Trails. They are both great apps. There is a great notetaking
app called Notes master that also allows pass code for notes.
