I don't think this is a problem with your device. I've been having a problem
with both of those apps ever since Beta 6 of iOS 7. It persisted through the
GM version as well. I have the latest updates to both apps but the issues
still persist.

Yes, I probably should have thought of doing that! :-) I did it this
morning and got Tap Tap See to take one picture, but isn't doing
recognition. It seemed to freeze up after taking the picture.

Since it looks to be a wide spread problem, and seems not to work more than
work, I would contact the developer of the app.
Be sure to let them know what version of phone you are using, 4, 4s, or 5.

and Camfind after upgrading to IOS 7 and they would not work. I
understand some apps will not work with it, but I just wondered if
