I wouldn’t compare a Perkins brailler or braille watch with an iPhone, old or
not. The fact is that at one point we do need to upgrade although it would be
interesting to find out how long, for example, I could go with my iPhone 6S
Plus after it doesn’t get iOS updates any more before I start
I understand where you are coming from, Bill, and these days, we keep on
outliving our products.

You can’t go wrong with the older technology.
It’s worked for years and it will continue to work for years.
I go back to the days of the old Perkins Brailer in the braille watch and I
still use them today.
I still also used my braille.
