Subject: Airplay: I Just Ain't
Hello,
Personally, I would not invest in a pair of AirPlay speakers. As you noted,
it's an apple only format where as bluetooth is an open standard. If you get
airplay for free in your Apple TV or your Airport Express, great, but in my
humble opinion, there are few reasons to use airplay, and
One benefit for AirPlay or Sonos systems is, both systems will play one's music
remotely whilst the VO voice remains on the iOS device. With bluetooth, the VO
voice is transmitted to the speakers along with one's music.

Airplay is a proprietary technology by Apple that allows wireless
streaming of media content, usually audio but video is supported too.

Hi Eric and all
I can tell you Airplay can now be found from within the Control Centre.
Touch anywhere on the status bar and do a three finger swipe upwards
from the bottom. But that's all I know since I listen to music on my
iPad and my new microhifi system.

Hi Eric,
As Chris pointed out, Apple has put Airplay into the Control Centre, I
assume mostly in order to streamline the interface of its apps such as
Music, Podcasts etc. As you already noticed the MLB at Bat app still has its
own Airplay button and so does Audible to give another example. It
