I have not had any problems. If she forgot, she needs to double tap
on the edit button, find the book she wants to delete and, I believe
swipe left until she hears delete and the title of the book she wants
to delete. I usually have to double tap once and it says again delete
and the title.

You can download the book on your phone. Simply double tap on the book and
you will get a message asking you if you would like to download the book.
