I am using iOS 9.0.2 and am not experiencing the bug of being jumped
bak in time after entering a new appointment. I have an iPhone 6S.
Also, I saw a reply from the developer that they know about the bug
with flicking between days and that it will be fixed in a future
update. Richard, it is odd to
this app, as good as it is, has some annoying and inconsistant bugs.
Myself, my staff member and several clients have had nothing but headaches with
flicking through events.
Plus the craziness of opening the app and jumping back in time.
But, the go to today button works and I just slide my
Just got this from Flexibits support about the jumping back in time.
Hi Richard,
I've been able to reproduce this now and we hope to resolve it in a future
update. Thanks!
Best wishes,

Hello,
Just an idea. It certainly works for our mail bug, that we love so much. Put
voice over on the home button, so that a triple click toggles it. Then, just
before the bug disable it, open what's needed, and reenable.

Richard, same here. I am always taken back to May 2015 and at one point, I
actually went back to October 2014.

I put a video of my iPhone 6 doing that up on DropBox and sent it to him.
Hopefully that will help him understand what is happening.
I just had my sighted wife, who has the iPad Mini running iOS 9.0.2 and also
uses Fantastical 2 open Fantastical 2 and for her, without VoiceOver running,

This is very odd.
This jumping back is happening on all my devices, an iPod Touch 6th gen, iPhone
5S and an iPhone 6. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. I've rebooted the
devices, I'm always jumped back when I first open the app.
Plus, this is happening on a coworkers iPhone 6 plus and a
So, Wayne, you don't get jumped into the past when you first open the app?
Interesting.
I hope you are letting the Flexibits team know that as well as the other issue.
Flicking has never really worked right since a very early version.

Richard and all,
I have not experienced that in the recent 2.5 update. Wehn I make a
new appointment, if I am on a day in the future whether it is the next
day or several months ahead, I am switched back to the current date
after double tapping the Add button. This may be a bug but for me it

I got a similar email and tried deleting and reinstalling but still got dumped
back in time so I have written back to the developer to report the bug. The
more of us who do this, the more chance of it getting fixed! Harry

Okay!! I don't want to be a spoilic"!, but when I opened the app, the month was
reading correctly. I added a couple of events to it that are coming up this
month and next. I'm running 8.4.1 and I'm wondering if it's effecting 9.0.2
users. Just a thought.
Best,
Eileen

Adam from Flexibits replied to my note about being jumped back and said he
couldn't reproduce it.
He asked that I delete the app and reinstall.
I did, and it still jumps me back.
I sent him two screen shots, one in the DayPicker that Fantastical defaults to
when you first run it and one after
Yes, this problem did begin after the iOS update! Harry

Right. The issue is only with iOS 9X.
I thought I said that in the original post, but I may not have.
I hope any iOS 9 users that are experiencing this will write them.
And, if you are using iOS 9 and you don't have the issue of it jumping back six
months or a year, please speak up. It could
